How Do Water Ionizers Work? 

Alkaline water ionizers purify and ionize ordinary tap water to create healthy water. The ionizing process is fairly simple. The water from your tap is first purified as it goes through a ceramic filter made with  activated carbon and synthetic fiber.The Chanson PJ-6000 filter cartridge is able to reduce lead and heavy metals. With silver impregnated carbon and synthetic fiber this filter has very high chlorine reduction.

After being filtered, the water goes through Electrolysis, during this process water is electrically energized with with titanium &  platinum plates. These positive and negative charges separate the water into two different streams (alkaline &  acidic),  and we drink the alkaline water (full of hydroxyl ions, OH-). After an ionizer changes the structure of the water, the result is greater hydration and antioxidant benefits from the hydroxyl ions.
